Name: Silver Gender: Mare Breed: PaintXarab Owned or Wild: [if owned, please list the owner] wild Age: 7 Height: 14.1 Coloration: Skewbald, white mane and tail with a brown forlock. A silver coloured star on my forhead. Conformation [physical description]: quite thin boned, big ears and pretty eyes. High set tail. History: Father was a wild paint, mother was a captive arab. I ran away when i was old enough to be alone, and eventually joined a herd... Im now struggling to get a mate and new friends.
Silver walked slowly with her hooves and nose dragging along the cold, hard ground. Suddenly, a faint smell reached her nose, a stallion’s scent! Her large ears pricked forward and she gave a small grunt of happiness and trotted on with her tail high and a bit more spring in her step. Her trot soon got faster and she broke into a strong canter, but she swerved quickly to the side as a small cliff drop formed in front of her. The impact of her stop sent several small stones bouncing down the steep sides, and she realised she wouldn’t be able to get down there unharmed. She heard a shrill whinny in the distance. That herd must have passed down here… and she must find a way to get to them… and fast. She jogged steadily along the edge of the cliff until she came across a river that had eroded a slope down the cliff face. As she sniffed the water nervously, there was a wolf cry in the distance that made her throw her body into the river and gallop wildly down it. Fortunately the river had a fairly solid base, although on her wild descent, her leg hit a sharp stone. As she looked up she saw a horse coming towards her, and she collapsed.
